For this assignment, I created a digital photobook of the campus of West Georgia with the program SmileBox from www. smilebox.com. I am a media specialist at a high school and have several seniors in my advisement that are not sure of what they will do once they graduate. I created this with them in mind. I wanted to use the storytelling project to promote different colleges around the area. My project focuses on the campus of West Georgia, since I am a student there and have been for quite a while. I took several shots around campus and provided minimal explaination for what they represent. I chose to give little information because I do not want to bombard the students with countless facts about a campus when I know most will choose based on what it looks like. Of course, that's how my brother chose his college! In order to view my work, you have to click on the "Play" button. This will take you to another webpage where you can view the product. My project has music with it so you may want to turn up or turn down your speakers. The following buttons are additional features of my project: play, pause, fastforward, rewind, and click me. The "click me" button allows you to enlarge certain photographs. The icon will become invisible once you roll your cursor over the image and will reappear when you roll the cursor back over the image. Hope you enjoy my work!!
